The Global Clinic

For over a decade, we provided a client in the healthcare industry with research products that helped it monitor product performance in a marketplace environment in order to discover facts that could be used to support marketing claims. When that client wanted to survey respondents outside the United States, we were able to offer a full-service solution that achieved the studies' objectives and provided an ultra-convenient means for our client to manage its various international and domestic projects.

These multinational studies required us to accommodate respondents in 22 different countries and 18 languages, with study sizes ranging from several hundred to 20,000 participants. Each study required a practitioner who routinely recommended the client's product to gather data from 10 to 15 patients who used the client's product. We were responsible for recruiting, developing all study materials, collecting data and producing final reporting - all while maintaining strict adherence to international privacy regulations and good clinical practices.

Our success in these studies was based on our ability to carefully prospect using external data sources and professional referrals, combined with an aggressive series of communications through the coordinated application of our in-house call center, white mail, e-mail and fax to sell the benefits associated with participation.

Once the recruiting process concluded, we fulfilled a variety of study materials - instruction guides, study logs and multiple surveys - all of which were developed using our internal creative group. Our copywriters worked with the client to finalize the survey verbiage, our production managers and editors worked with the client's preferred translators to ensure that all information was presented correctly, and our designers laid out the information in a professional way that was consistent with our client's branding for these studies.

Then, as data was collected, we used a proprietary application that we designed to enable our client to review results online as the study progressed in the field. This application provided such outstanding convenience that our client asked to use it to manage all its studies - not just international projects.

Because we were able to accommodate all of our clients' needs for global research services by utilizing our in-house expertise, our client was able to focus on the data that came from the study instead of the logistics that went into study implementation.
